SMS and Text Messaging Policy

At MM-Law, we take your privacy and communication preferences seriously. By signing up below, you consent to MM-Law’s Privacy Policy, including the use of SMS, text, or other electronic messaging methods for updates and communication related to your case or website inquiry. This policy outlines how we will manage these communications and how you can control them. MM-Law does not share or sell SMS data, opt-in information, or any other client contact information.

SMS Messaging Consent and Registration

To provide seamless communication with our clients, MM-Law has registered its SMS campaigns with The Campaign Registry (TCR), ensuring compliance with industry standards and carrier requirements. By registering your contact details on our website, you agree to receive SMS updates from us regarding your case, legal updates, or firm announcements. Our primary messaging number is 312-253-7444, registered in compliance with TCR.

•Consent Requirement: By submitting your contact information, you confirm that you are providing express consent to receive communications from MM-Law via SMS. This includes one-on-one text messages as well as automated updates.

•Opt-In Process: You will be required to confirm your subscription via an opt-in SMS or email. Consent must be explicitly provided and can be withdrawn at any time.

•Opt-Out: You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any of our messages. Opting out will prevent any further non-urgent SMS communication but will not affect critical or legally required updates regarding your case.

Email Communications

Upon registration, clients may also receive communications via email. These emails may include individual case updates, or firm announcements.  If you wish to opt-out of updates via email, please click unsubscribe in our emails.

Data Protection and Privacy

Your contact information is used exclusively for communication between you and MM-Law. We do not share or sell your information to third parties without your consent unless required by law.

Carrier and Compliance Details

Any SMS campaign or individual message will adhere to the following standards:

•Message Frequency: We will only send messages as necessary and avoid overloading clients with excessive updates. Expected message frequency will vary depending on your case or subscription preferences.
