GAVRIEL MAIRONE


A law firm dedicated to advancing private human rights law by representation of victims of international terrorism, crimes against humanity, weaponization of mass rape and sexual assault, proliferation and deployment of chemical weapons, torture, human tracking and modern slavery, and genocide in civil lawsuits to force accountability upon the financiers, profiteers, co-conspirators and aiders and abettors of the perpetrators of such crimes and the designated rogue State sponsoring the perpetrators. Mairone created a counterterrorism research group to support such litigation that, since 2001, conducts legal operational research on international money laundering and finance of the perpetrators, State sponsors, and jihadi terrorist organizations, in Arabic, Farsi, English, French, German, Kurdish, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Hebrew. He has over 40 years of legal experience initially specializing in international taxation and business planning and then focusing on and developing expertise in international human rights and humanitarian law, counterterrorism, transnational, and tort law.

Mairone serves on the International Human Rights Committee of the American Bar Association and the Subcommittees on Humanitarian Law and Human Rights and Corporate Responsibility.  From 2012-2018, he volunteered as an Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) delegate to the United Nations Human Rights Council. He is also a member the American Association for Justice, the American Society of International Law, and the International Legal Team of the Kurdish Regional Government Group for the Recognition of the Kurdish Genocide, in Washington D.C. and London.

Mairone is a legal strategy expert in prosecuting international money laundering and terrorist financing civil cases and a pioneer in the development of legal remedies available to victims of violations of U.S. counterterrorism law and international human rights law. 

Admitted to practice: Illinois, Florida, New York, District of Columbia, United States District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois, the District of Columbia and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Second and Seventh Circuit Courts of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Military: NCO airborne, special forces, and counterterrorism ops.
