Human Rights and Counterterrorism Lawsuits
MM~LAW represents over 19,000 victims of international terrorist attacks, chemical weapons attacks, weaponization of mass rape and sexual assault, human trafficking and exploitation constituting modern slavery, torture, genocide and other crimes against humanity.. We target the criminal transnational enterprises, corporations and international banks that seek to profit by illegally supporting terrorists and warlords, redirecting the money used to support and profit from international terrorism, trafficking and slavery, torture and jus cogen norm violations, to compensate the victims of the crimes enabled by these defendants. In short, to hold the financiers, profiteers, aiders and abettors and co-conspirators accountable to, and compensate, the victims and survivors.
While MM~LAW represents exclusively victims of international terrorism and the crimes noted above, in order to prosecute numerous lawsuits, MM~LAW has reached out to other, top-tier, trial lawyers, to jointly represent our clients with MM~LAW, in one or more lawsuits. Over 20 law firms have joined the network created by MM~LAW.
MM~LAW’s clients come from over 26 countries. Just as international terrorists and transnational criminal enterprises span the globe, without limitations to any one specific territory or jurisdiction, MM~LAW represents victims without limitations on any territory or jurisdiction. The horrible harms inflicted upon MM~LAW’s clients are caused, not merely by violations of the laws of any State but result from violations of the laws and norms of all humanity.
Law continues to evolve, and just as business, enterprise, and perpetrators of international crimes are neither bound by, nor respect national boundaries, law, and the practice of law, must evolve, anchored by two cardinal principles, the right of every person to effective access to justice, and the equality of all humans, irrespective of any of the artificial classifications societies create, such as race, religion (or lack thereof), gender, age, nationality, language, wealth (or lack thereof) and all other “classifications” of humans. A corollary arising from the foregoing principles is that no person, state, entity or organization is above the law, nor possessing “privileges and immunities” in derogation of jus cogen norms.
All client engagements are made on a strict contingent, success-fee basis. All litigation costs are funded by MM~LAW and partner law firms.
